Russell & Woofter Opposes Certiorari in Climate Change Case Against Fossil Fuel Producers

Today, the firm filed a brief opposing a cert. petition supported by the Trump Administration in a case brought by Boulder County and the City of Boulder, Colorado, against members of the fossil fuel industry over their role in climate change. The petition asks the Supreme Court to review the case and hold that Boulder’s claims are preempted by federal law.
